Test sewing an embroidery design

My friend that I make the tee shirts for has started to learn how to digitize embroidery designs and I am SO very proud of her. I would love to learn how to do this process, but between money problems and this "learning problem" that I have -where facts do not stick in my head like they did when I was young?  I really need to see something done in order to get the hang of something new. There is so much to learn in our wonderful world- and Always something new being created. When she asked me to test sew out a design for her - I would honored and I think it turned out very cute. I ended up hanging it on my wall -another one of my "Art" forms that I like on my sewing room to remember to count my blessings and my wonderful friends, but if I still had a little girl in dance class - it would have been so cute to put on a tote of some kind to carry her dance essentials in?  Or maybe to put on a tote for a friend and add :"Dancing through life"?????  as that is what we all seem to be doing - one way or the other!
