Life Upside Down Life

I am sorry I did not post last night. I had DH back to the doctor and his prostate cancer is back and stronger than before. They took him in and did a chemo treatment on him that took two hours.

Next he goes on Thurs. for a CT Scan to see what is going on inside his tummy that is causing him almost unbearable pain & that is with pain meds. It is very hard to see someone you love suffer and not be able to fix it.

I think we both were in shock as we both had our hopes up high.

I did a lot of work outdoors this morning  and it was afternoon when I had enough sense to head inside. I caught DH in tears a couple of times . Drats.

I did work on my machine embroidery project -trying to save it -but in the end it messed up bigtime on the outline-so I might just trash it -or -see if my sister-in-law would still want it to work around the house in?

I started on a little girls shorts outfit. I have it cut out and the front embroidered.
We have had rain the last four days-they are calling for some sun tomorrow.

  1. So sorry to hear about dear hubby... I just the same some news about my sister. She has 3 to 6 months. its hard. I will be praying for you and your family
    BIG Hugs

  2. Oh wow Linda...I will be praying extra hard for your DH and for you! Pain is horrible~ I hardly know how to encourage you other than the Good LORD knows all things, and will work out the best for all...but I pray for healing!!!

I had looked for your post last night until after midnight..then figured you'd gone to bed~

I hope the machine will cooperate for you from now on with the new bobbin holder.

Just got back from lunch with my aunt and daughters. I'll post some of her beautiful yard tonight. Everything is so lush right now. Lots of weeding :\ I'm not a weeder! ♥♥♥

  3. Bless your hearts!!! I wanted to ask but got my answer through this post. Still praying.

  4. Oh bugger, damn and BLAST that your darling hubby is in so much pain. I am so very sorry he is in such pain... it must break your heart seeing him in tears.
I have seen my Stew in tears only a few times in our 27 years and it made me cry so much.
{{{HUGS}}} and tell your man I think of him all the time and wish things would get easier for him (and you).
